Spread a Little Christmas Cheer...

Blazer: F21 | Top: Delia's (old) | Jeans: Rock and Republic (similar) | Heels: Steve Madden | Bag: Michael Kors
Sunnies: Ray Ban | Watch: DKNY | Ring: Juicy Couture
'Twas the night before Christmas...

I got to spend the entire day Wednesday with one of my best friends from Dallas who came in town for the day! We shopped, ate some delicious food, and best of all sipped the biggest mug of mocha at our favorite downtown coffee shop in Memphis. Coffee and conversation always does the trick for me. You can check out Meredith's own fashion blog at www.createthatoutfit.com.

Just wanted to share a look I came up with for Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a BIG Thank You for supporting me this year by reading my blog!

Gold Sequin Polkadots

Shirt: TJ Maxx | Jeans: Joe's Jeans | Boots: Aldo | Watch: DKNY

It's been what seems like forever since I last posted...but as they always say it's better than never. You just get caught up in life sometimes and have to prioritize what is most important especially during this time of the year! I've had a lot of parties at the Country Club I've helped work and the other little free time I've had has been spent with this wonderful guy named Greg. As much as I love ya'll, he wasn't about to get put on the back burner! But I have a few fun posts lined up and ready to roll out this week! So stay tuned.

This top was one one of those lucky finds that aren't normal for TJ Maxx Juniors section! One I don't fit in Jr's clothes and two it's too classy to be in the Jr's section as well. haha The pale pink with gold polkadot sequins has become a favorite. This week I paired the top with winter white slacks and gold accessories and looked quite festive even though this is not your traditional red and green!

These fun shots were taken a few weeks back up at my church when a few of us girls wanted to have a fun fall photo shoot! Thus producing 1000's of images like you see below. This is one of my top pics!

Happy Merrymaking this Christmas!

Tuxedo Top & Red

Shirt: TJ Maxx (similar) | Coat: Guess (similar) | Pants: Cynthia Rowley via TJ Maxx | Shoes: Sam Edelman |
Bag: Michael Kors | Watch: DKNY

The cold has officially arrived and I've busted out the red coat a little early this year! I had this mindset that red was only for the holiday season but when paired with some simple black and white, it's an instant classic! The shoes on another note...are they not the super fun and fab?! Sam Edelman is about some comfort and quality too. A little leery of sling-backs, I have not had one issue with the straps EVER falling off. He obviously knows what he's doing! Would you invest in a pair of fun shoes?

Happy Friday!

Denim on Denim or the Canadian Tuxedo...

Shirt: Urban Outfitters | Shorts: J Brand | Shoes: Gap | Sunnies: Ray Ban | Watch: DKNY |
Bracelets: Banana Republic (similar), Target, Target

You've seen the "Canadian Tuxedo" on pinterest lately, so I decided to do my own little twist this week with some new favorite booties from Gap. In the past week, I've worn them about 5 times...so as I said they go with just about everything and are well worth the $80 spent! Real suede leather and very comfortable! You can't beat that!
Happy Monday!

P.S. I would love to have anyone interested in helping support a wonderful cause visit the link below. I set up a firstgiving site in order to raise money for Lifechoices of Memphis, a pro-life crisis pregnancy center. They are having a 5k Sat., Nov 3rd at Shelby Farms here in Memphis and I will be running in this to help save the lives of the unborn!
Thanks for reading:)

J.Crew Inspired...

Jeans: Kenneth Cole Outlet (similar here) | T-shirt: J.Crew | Blazer: Gap | Shoes: ALDO | Watch: DKNY |
Bracelets: Target, Target, Bauble Bar
It's Monday and a little J.Crew inspiration was the theme of this past weekend! My sister and I enjoyed a special last night about the man behind the brand...it was like a look into his head, his design, and what has made him so successful. After that show, you couldn't help but be influenced to wear something a bit J.Crewish. Bright colors he said are like a palette of paint a fashion artist has to work with. So naturally I started with the brightest orangey-red pants I had and built a J.Crew look from there. What brands or designers inspire you?

Pop of Orange

Skirt: Anthropologie (also like here, here) | Cardigan: Gap | Tank: Anthropologie (old) |
Shoes: Kenneth Cole (similar) | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Express (similar)
To me this outfit was very teacher worthy... or at least I felt the part headed to work this week! The skirt was c/o www.tallgirlmusings.blogspot.com...thank you Amy. I paired it with one of my new, best-color-to-have cardigans from Gap. I have found that this color goes with everything and I love the fact that it is an orange cardigan which helps transition into fall. Do you ever feel the part just by the outfit you have on?

P.S. I'm in the mood for pumpkin anything, spice candles, and football games. It finally feels like fall y'all!

Jail Break Stripes...

Dress: MaxStudio (TJ Maxx) | Sandals: Franco Sarto (Marshalls) | Bag: Michael Kors | Earrings: Target | Watch: DKNY | Bracelets: Target
Date night with my boyfriend this week featured a fun trip downtown to the TrolleyStop Cafe for dinner, a ride down Main Street on the trolley, and Maggie Moo's ice cream all in this fabulous maxi dress from my sister's closet. Amy and her husband temporarily moved back home for 6 weeks while their new house is being built. Translated: 2 full wardrobes over the next 6 weeks! SCORE! Out of all the maxi dresses I've ever tried, this has by far been my favorite because one it's long enough and two the stripes are super flattering on just about any figure. Go check out Amy's blog at www.tallgirlmusings.blogspot.com! I must also say my bf was the best sport agreeing to snap these few photos while we were out. Welcome to my new temp photographer for the night:) Notice his shadow in the first pic! hah I loved it...

Happy Monday & Welcome to October Friends!
