'Twas the night before Christmas...

I got to spend the entire day Wednesday with one of my best friends from Dallas who came in town for the day! We shopped, ate some delicious food, and best of all sipped the biggest mug of mocha at our favorite downtown coffee shop in Memphis. Coffee and conversation always does the trick for me. Denim on Denim or the Canadian Tuxedo...

You've seen the "Canadian Tuxedo" on pinterest lately, so I decided to do my own little twist this week with some new favorite booties from Gap. In the past week, I've worn them about 5 times...so as I said they go with just about everything and are well worth the $80 spent! Real suede leather and very comfortable! You can't beat that!

My photographer was home for 2 weeks on a session break from school. While he was home, we managed to squeeze in a week vacation with the entire family in Seagrove Beach, FL. We rented the cutest, quaint beach cottage about 200 yds from the beach and had a wonderfully, much-needed relaxing time! I only wished this happened more often.

We hit the shops of Seaside one sunny afternoon and captured a few colorful pics! One of my go to looks as the weather begins to cool down is a long sleeve top paired with any summer shorts. What is your between seasons go to look?

Today is all about the accessories. You notice how I kept the same core outfit but created two totally different vibes all with a scarf and purse. You have the trendy neon look going on with the scarf and clutch and a more classy neutral with the belt and Louis. Which look to you like better? Don't be afraid of accessories and better yet revamp some of your same outfits with a new accessory twist this week.
